WHAT IS BOUND FOR PEACE?
Bound for Peace is an experiential education program that sends volunteers to collaborate with youth in Latin America. We strive to facilitate meaningful service-oriented interactions that emphasize and respect the needs identified by community members, and cultivate educational experiences that illuminate the complexities and realities of lived experience among the youth with whom we work. BFP participants will develop hard work, deep critical reflection, and effective communication skills in order to facilitate workshops with the kids. volunteers will be exposed to the country's culture through excursions and different festivals taking place during your stay. Since the first BFP trip to Medellín in 2003, over one hundred volunteers have traveled with Children Beyond Our Borders. We are looking for passionate caring individuals who are open to sharing their love with our children We would love to have you join our amazing team! |
