Colombia Somos Todos is a country’s yearning for a place where everyone has the right to dream, to imagine becoming great athletes, scientists, entrepreneurs, professionals, technicians or any other activity that will contribute to personal growth so they can be a positive contribution to society. Who are we? A team led by James Rodriguez and his family, integrated by people and organizations willing to support children and youth who are at - risk for not accomplishing their dreams. Since 2011, we have been collaborating with vulnerable families in the city of Ibague, Colombia and have been growing into other zones around the country. What motivates us? The innate potential in human beings to develop skills and talent. The capabilities of cooperation and for the well-being of others. The effect in transformation by the enrichment and fortifying of abilities and their resources. What do we do? Empower the vital capital, strengthen the biological tools, scaffolding cultural and ecological niches in children and adolescents at risk of frustration of their talents. The vital capital is an asset we all have to become powerful and influential in society. How do we do it? Through play and experiential learning; specifically through soccer and pedagogical learning in practice, empowering self-knowledge and fortifying the vital capital. We are all Colombia Talent is sprung from the crib. Colombia needs us to work together. We focus in children, adolescents and their families. You are Colombia Imagine if we could spark this in as many lives as we can. We can move from being a country worried about the basic needs and survival of its people to one investing in innovation, creativity, and quality of life. A country for all requires that we are all Colombia. https://www.facebook.com/Colombiasomostodos |
