The Empowerment through English Initiative (EEI) was founded by the efforts of Children Beyond Our Borders, Inc, a Non-Profit in Orlando, FL, in collaboration with our partner foundations in cities across Colombia, Nicaragua, and Ecuador. The idea of this collaboration is to find a candidate to motivate the youth from these countries to become global citizens by learning a second language. With English becoming the most popular global language, children exposed at a young age have greater opportunity for success in the future. This program was established to create a once in a lifetime opportunity for the chosen volunteer, as well as, the children whom they will serve.
